There are a number of challenges facing the Council’s Waste Services:

- Reduction in how much money we have to spend
- Targets for increased recycling set by the Scottish Government
- The need to reduce the amount of waste being sent to landfill.

We need to review and possibly make changes to the waste and recycling services the Council currently provides. We need your help to shape how these future services will look to make sure they are right for you.

Do you have any ideas about how the Council could improve its waste and recycling services while saving money? What could we do to encourage people to recycle more? Please add your ideas below.

All the feedback received will be used to help develop the Council’s new Waste Management Plan, which is part of its Corporate Transformation programme.

If you would like to tell us how you currently use waste services, please take part in our survey online or pick up  a paper copy from any Council library, contact centre or community recycling centre. The survey is open until until 15 May.
