Increase Education Buget

Increase budget allocated to education.

Why the contribution is important

Ringfencing money for education doesn’t go far enough.  Our young people deserve the best educational experience possible, this can’t be achieved through simply ringfencing, all schools need an increase in budget allocation to allow them to continue to provide services without making cuts to provision.

    This is essential to remain a competitive school and give our young people a chance and a range of subjects. We have a fantastic head teacher and staff at PHS - help them to help our young people achieve their maximum potential in this rapidly changing work environment.

    Yes we should prioritise our young people, ring fencing education funding is not enough, they need more funding. We must ensure that good quality teachers & support staff can be retained and supported ,adequate pastoral care given, Staff need adequate time to stop and think to be able to stay up to date and to innovate. School facilities need to be reviewed & updated.
