Reduce Fly-Tipping

Stop charging commercial users for disposing of waste.

That means there is no longer any money-saving reason not to take commercial waste to a council depot and no need to risk being fined in the unlikely event that a commercial user is caught fly-tipping. I think it extremely likely that fly-tipping would stop very quickly.

The clean-up costs of fly-tipped waste far outweigh the charges raised, don't they ?

If this would prevent getting income from responsible major users; the Council could say "the first 50 tons is free".

Why the contribution is important

Fly-tipping is unsightly, causes health and environtmental problems, can lead to accidents and is very expensive to clear up.
